i think my polaroid days might be over. at least for the foreseeable future. the only camera i have worth shooting with seems to have self-destructed today. "merry christmas, erin, i quit!" it seemed to say. yuck yuck double yuck. i'm going to try to fix it, but if it doesn't work i guess i'll have to wait until the rest of my cameras make their way home sometime next year to finish off my stash of film.
but hopefully i can figure out why it's giving me the finger.

While googling Polaroid, I came across your blog.
Have you considered switching to the instax mini format? It's actually a very inexpensive alternative to the ever-incresing-hard-to-find polaroid.
honestly, no. i haven't given it a second thought. i'm not the least bit interested in trying to replace polaroid with something similar once my stash runs dry. i've had a hearty go at it, and i'll definitely be sad to see it go, but then it will be time to move on to something different.
that being said, i wouldn't hesitate to try some new film if it would work in any of the cameras i already have...
