sean and i had yesterday off work and were able to get pretty much everything done in preparation for our BIG TRIP. haha. to oklahoma. but, still...

the last few weeks have been a blur of chiropractor appointments and bradley classes and other random activities, and it had felt like forever since we had seen Dotti... but our appointment yesterday was awesome. we had made a lot of pretty big decisions about henry since the last time we saw her, and it was wonderful to tell her and see her face light up. we also got a shit-ton of info to do more research on, and got to hear him hiccuping :)

then i took sean to a little dutch bakery... and pretty much nothing matters after that :)

tonight: the mountain goats in denver!
friday: oklahoma!

sometimes i get jealous of other people's eyeballs. this is one of those times.

also, just got my mitts on the new madeline. it's just lovely.

haircut today. bangs are like a pocket t-shirt. just ask the johns.

getting used to.

people are weird here.

everyone in texas thinks that they're in the friendliest state.
clearly they've never been to colorado.
where when you hold the door for a stranger, they spend the 15 second walk to the car telling you all kinds of personal information without hesitation.
it's kind of nice.

about a year ago jeff and i had this amazing idea to turn madonna's open your heart into something of a polaroid storyboard. we had it all planned out and it was going to be super cryptic and we were going to post it online and see if anyone could figure out what it was.

we never did it. i just remembered, and it made me laugh.

i should probably mention that jeff only knows the words to the song because it was covered by atom and his package. i'm guessing he doesn't want people thinking he listens to madonna. i suppose i don't want people thinking that either. poor madonna.
