quite a week.

so this was jeff the other night after we picked up his new iphone

hm. so that's fun. they made off with a whopping 2 bucks in change. and that's it. the only thing of value i even had in my car was a rangefinder under the backseat, which they didn't find. or maybe they did find it and passed it over. either way i count myself pretty lucky that all i have to replace is a window.

it's funny cause it's true.

i've eaten so much pad thai tonight i might just puke. jeff is mastering his thai cooking skills (and it's coming along quite nicely, i must say) and today was all about the pad thai. 3 times. 3 plates of pad thai. delicious, yes. filling, oh so much.

so. season 4 of the simpsons is great.

i put a bunch of new stuff on the website this weekend, in all categories :) i'm also working on a new bag (all purpose) and a laptop bag. from my progress so far, i think they might take a while.

some interesting facts about texas that we happened across last night:

8th highest presidential approval rating, 45% (but he did come from here, so...)

big old fat #1 in uninsured population. go us.

2nd highest in total state gross domestic product.

and, of course, #48 in gas prices.

i don't want it to seem like i'm constantly down on texas, because in reality it's not all bad. however, it is the only place i ever vowed to never live, pre jeff. there is a cult-like quality to it. like walmart. it's scary and weird.

tomorrow is jeff's first day of class this semester. i'll be keeping my fingers crossed for at least a week.
