too many trips to the hospital (for loved ones, not ourselves)
long long car rides, which included seeing a helicopter land on the highway! also, a long long wait for that helicopter to leave.

i loved being home. i loved being with jeff for christmas. i loved seeing my family and driving in snow and buying some freakin' polaroid 690. hell yes.
