i thought about trying to explain, but i've decided against it.
today is my grandma's 91st birthday. yesterday was jeff's 27th. the day before that was when i was really upset about my comics not being on the right pages and not knowing why. i hate april fools. almost as much as i hate zoo pictures.

I think the quote is best left unexplained.
I got kind of pissed about April Fool's this year - Marketplace (on NPR) did this whole fake story about people getting merchandise instead of money for their tax refunds, and I actually believed it. Also, Grist (an internet econews site) sent out a weekly news update that was full of entirely fake news, one item of which said Al Gore was running for president with Bloomberg as VP. Hardy har har.
i got april fooled so bad at work! they said that one of us would have to work at a different branch permanently.
i like that quote. i was in houston this weekend, and the weekend was lovely! i hope you had a great weekend.

by the way, i meant to tell you i was coming to houston (crafting!), but i was there for a library conference and didn't think i'd have down-time. i'd love to craft another time! or at least get to meet you!
