for the most part, it was a pretty corny movie. but then someone would say something awesome and it made the whole thing worth while. in general, it made me feel happy about feeling sad. which is less depressing than it sounds:

"I just want to make sure that a million years from now I can still see you up close and we'll still have amazing things to say."

"If anybody smiles at me ever again, I'm going to freak out. "
